About OneDropConvert

OneDropConvert is a set of free image tools for everyday problems: an iPhone photo that won't open on Windows, a WebP that a form won't accept, a picture too big for an upload limit, or a handful of photos that need to become one PDF.

Why local conversion matters

Most online converters upload your files to a server, convert them there and send them back. That works, but it means your photos, scans and documents sit on someone else's computer, and you have to trust what happens to them next.

We built OneDropConvert the other way round. Modern browsers are powerful enough to decode and encode images themselves, and open-source libraries compiled to WebAssembly cover the formats browsers can't handle on their own, like HEIC. So the whole conversion happens on your device. Your files are never uploaded. Our site's security policy only lets the page connect to our own server and, if you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics, and neither ever receives your files.

A nice side effect: it's fast. There's no upload queue, so a batch of photos is usually done in seconds.

What we promise

  • Your files never leave your device.
  • Location data and other hidden metadata are removed from converted images.
  • No watermarks, and no sign-up for the free plan: 10 conversions a day. Pro is unlimited.
  • Plain, specific language, and no claims we can't back up.
